November 6 General Election — Important Dates

August 13 (Monday) — County Clerk draws for ballot position for General Election candidates, 3 p.m. at the County Clerk's Office.

August 17 (Friday) — Deadline for county and municipal governments to submit non-binding public questions to appear on the General Election ballot to the County Clerk.

August 31 (Friday) — Deadline for submission of a [non-binding] public question proposed by the electorate and adopted by county or municipal government to be filed with the County Clerk.

September 4 (Tuesday) — Deadline for filling a vacancy for an Independent candidate. ALSO, deadline to file a nomination petition for Municipal Non-Partisan candidates to be voted in the General Election.

September 11 (Tuesday) — Last day a vacancy can occur for a Primary Election nominee.

September 13 (Thursday) — Deadline to fill a vacancy created by a withdrawn Primary nominee.

End September — Mail-in/Absentee ballots available from your County Clerk.

October 16 (Tuesday) — Last day to register for the November General Election.

October 23 (Tuesday) — Deadline for filing of Challenger Appointments for General Election.

October 30 (Tuesday) — Last day to apply by mail for a mail-in ballot (Clerk's Office must be in receipt of your completed application by Oct. 30).

October 31 (Wednesday) — Mail Sample Ballots - must be mailed by noon on the Wednesday preceding Election Day.

November 3 (Saturday) — Special extended hours at the Clerk's Office from 9 a.m. to noon for Early Voting only - CALL OFFICE TO CONFIRM HOURS.

November 5 (Monday) — Last day to apply in person and vote a mail-in ballot; up to 3 p.m. at the Clerk's Office.

November 6 (Tuesday) — GENERAL ELECTION DAY
